Hi everyone! Is it worth...
Buying a Demon DYX140 2nd Gen rather than the DX110 2nd Gen?? A couple of my mates haveSstomp 150's and say I should get the 110, is it worth the extra 100 quid for the 140? + Ionly have £420 at the moment, have to wait even longer to get the 140. Is it worth the wait?
Cheers

Re: Hi everyone! Is it worth...
Welcome to the forum Bill! My mate has a Demon X 110 and it is amazingly good for the money...I should know I have ridden it.
At the time I had the equivalent Stomp 110FX and even though I loved it to bits, the Demon X was leaps and bounds better than the Stomp - More Torque from the bottom end, better ridding position, bigger 14inch front wheel, better tyres.
As I have not ridden the 140 I cant tell you which one to go for but if I were you I would go for the Demon X 110 in my opinion.
I hope you make the right choice

Re: Hi everyone! Is it worth...
mate its not always about the bike its the rider aswell, if you are better rider and keep throttle on then you have a good chance, because i have seen a crf88 slaughter a rm85 round a track

Re: Hi everyone! Is it worth...
and with the 2nd gen you get to pick what gfx you want with it, what gfx would look best with a Red THOR Core 06(06 series because i got it in 06 and theres no need to buy a new one yet ) Racing Kit i cant decide

I wouldnt match it to your race kit because you wont have that kit forever because i have got a black bike and got a yellow/brown/black/white thor phase 07 kit

Re: Hi everyone! Is it worth...
Personally I love the SoBe graphics as not many people have them and they would look great with your red Thor Kit
And if I were you I would go for the Demon x DX110.

Re: Hi everyone! Is it worth...
im sorry aza, but that is utter bollox. First you don't even have an crf88. Second an Rm 85 would eat a crf88 alive. I've raced against 85 on my Bbr 88 . They are way more powerfull and throttle responce is way better.
The most powerfullest crf88 is 12 hp, a standared rm 85 is 28hp. So Aza your wrong.

Re: Hi everyone! Is it worth...
yeh i think Aza is on about like the rider more than the bikes mate. because you could have some utter noob on the RM85 and an experienced rider on the 88. which would probably result in the 88 winning. But obvs if the rider talent was the same then the rm85 would slaughter the 88. no doubt.

Re: Hi everyone! Is it worth...
Aza the guy with the Rm must have been a newbie. Because i take it, it was craig that supposedly slaughterd an RM. But he posted on the forums his crf88 wasn't fast enough.
I personal think the market has dropped out of the bottom with minibikes.
